FISH-head curry, chicken curry and egg sambal are chef Hamid Buyong’s favourites, especially the way his mother cooks them.

“I have had them since I was young. The dishes’ familiar flavours always evoke nostalgic feelings,” said the chef who has replicated his mother’s recipes which are now part of the buffet spread at Westin Kuala Lumpur.
