Autumn picnic sets full of Asian and Western flavours

The new Autumn Picnic sets by Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral are creative and refreshing.

DINERS will find themselves falling for the new Autumn Picnic sets by Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral, a promotion featured in conjunction with the season characterised by falling leaves and migrating birds.

Their culinary team has prepared two distinctive menus — Asian and Western.

Diners can choose between the full Asian or Western set menu, or select items from each to make the ideal picnic.

Tantalise your taste buds with Baked Japanese Sweet Potato with a tangy Lime-Wasabi dip, Pulled Sesame Chicken Baos and Korean fried chicken.

The accompanying sauce comes in two flavours — soy garlic and spicy, while the fried chicken is extra crunchy.

The hotel’s Indian-inspired Curried Butternut Squash casserole and Grilled Tandoori Vegetable Skewers are a must-try.

The Asian set starts and ends with Malaysian flavours — a refreshing Mango Salad with Crispy Anchovies and Peanuts and a satisfying Banana Trifle with Kaya Caramel.

The Western set offers Creole Potato Salad, Parmesan Tater Tots with Sriracha Dip, Grilled Mexican Corn on the Cob, juicy glazed BBQ Chicken Skewers and Onion and Cajun Chicken rice casserole.

End the picnic on a sweet note with the Chocolate Éclair Cake in a jar.

All picnic sets come with drinks.

The Autumn Picnic sets cater for four to five guests.

Available until the end of the year, each set is priced at RM198 nett.

Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance. For reservations, call 03-2723 1154 or email kulal.b&
