Diverse and beautiful Taiwan

Taiwan is located in a seismically active area which rather aptly sums up this quintessentially Chinese country’s relationship with the motherland across the straits.

The leaves, usually Oolong or green tea, must fill one-fifth of the pot (never washed, just wiped dry). The aroma is sampled before tasting, by inverting a taster cup into a small bowl. Taiwan’s tea culture took shape 200 years ago.
