FGV Festival celebrates settler heritage at Felda Settlers' Day 2026

FGV Holdings Berhad (FGV) brought the curtain down on the FGV Festival, which took place on July 6 to 7 at the Tun Abdul Razak Stadium, Jengka Town Centre, saw over 12,000 visitors across the two-day event.

Organised in conjunction with the Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) Settlers' Day 2026, the FGV Festival brings Felda residents and the community closer to the company as it celebrates a seven-decade journey in settler community development.

This includes FGV’s various products, businesses, innovations and technologies.Together, they demonstrate how the company continues to create value from the plantation sector to various agribusiness products and solutions.

Throughout the two-day event, the festival featured more than eight stalls from various business segments in the group, with more than 25 activities and demonstrations organised that brought together participants from various walks of life.

As part of the Felda Group, FGV’s participation in the Felda Settlers Day 2026 reflects the group’s continued role in supporting the development of the settler community.

At the festival, visitors had the opportunity to learn about its various business segments, including plantation, oils and fats, sugar, logistics and support, and consumer products.

It also showcased how the settlers’ produce is processed into various value-added products and solutions that benefit consumers every day.

Among the main attractions is the FGV Stall, which served over 25,000 free dishes and drinks made with FGV products such as Saji, Seri Pelangi and Gula Prai.

A departure from the food sampling concept common at festivals or expos, visitors enjoyed full-sized dishes of roti canai, fried rice, fried vermicelli, fried noodles, burgers and fried chicken prepared by local entrepreneurs to support local economic growth.

This occasion allowed visitors to experience firsthand how FGV products are used in the preparation of daily meals, highlighting the quality, versatility and strength of its value chain from farm to table.

The festival was also packed with interactive activities, including cooking demonstrations, a roti canai spreading competition, trivia sessions, interactive games, Active Arcade and other activities for visitors of all ages.

These activities complete the visitor experience through a combination of learning, entertainment and interaction with FGV brands and businesses.

The festival featured a Felda Travel booth, which drew an encouraging response from both the Felda community and visitors by offering affordable umrah packages from as low as RM5,555 per person.

Felda Travel leverages over 18 years of experience in hajj and umrah management and remains committed to providing the best, comfortable and trusted services to customers.

The height of the festival also saw the launch of a new phase of the Biodiesel B100 trials in FGV plantation operations, officiated by Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in conjunction with Felda Settlers’ Day 2026.

The selection of Felda Settlers’ Day as the launch platform illustrated the importance of this initiative not only to FGV, but also to the Felda ecosystem and the development of the national palm oil industry.

The launch marks a new step for the company to expand the Biodiesel B100 trials to plantation machinery operations and evaluate its technical and operational performance in a real plantation environment.

The initiative also showcased FGV’s commitment to leading innovation in the agribusiness sector through solutions that support the energy transition agenda, the sustainability of the palm oil industry and the country’s food security.

Aside from the Biodiesel B100 launch, visitors also had the opportunity to get up close with the machinery, agribusiness solutions and technologies on display, providing a more comprehensive picture of how FGV leverages innovation to improve productivity, efficiency and industry competitiveness.

The FGV Festival highlighted the group’s efforts to remain relevant in the face of industry changes and meet the expectations of the new generation.

The FGV Festival featured a Vendor Relationship Management (VRM) booth that provided an opportunity for settlers, Felda entrepreneurs and local entrepreneurs to obtain information on FGV's procurement process and register as potential vendors.

This initiative is part of the company’s efforts to expand the Felda community’s participation in its business ecosystem through broader collaboration opportunities.

The Buy and Win Campaign, selling consumer products at special promotional prices, served to encourage visitors to explore various FGV product brands.

The campaign recorded more than 1,200 entries, reflecting the positive response of visitors to the products and experiences offered throughout the festival.

But more than that, the FGV Festival at Felda Settlers’ Day 2026 proves the compay ‘s commitment to continue growing with Felda in strengthening the country's agribusiness value chain.
