MBR recognises nation’s largest rubber stamp artwork
IF you’ve ever owned a pet, you’ll know that the bond shared between your pet is one like no other.
SmartHeart, a pet food brand, unveiled the SmartHeart Pet Buddies, the brand’s first lineup of mascots celebrating the shared bonds between pets and their owners.
The launch event held at the Lot 10 entrance invited media partners and the public to witness the debut of these characters.
These characters will serve as the brand’s ambassadors not only in Malaysia but in other countries as well, strengthening its presence within the country and regionally.
Perfect Companion Group chief executive officer Kanoknart Numpacharoen introduced the five characters at the event: Snowchi the Cat, Max the Dog, Luna the Rabbit, Tika the Bird and Pip the Hamster.
Seeing how pets are increasingly viewed as family members, the brand was compelled to create something that meaningfully reflects those emotional connections in a fun and relatable way.
The characters draw parallels to the brand’s lineup of pet food offerings for these animals.
“Everything we create is driven by a simple purpose: to provide high-quality, balanced nutrition for pets at every stage of life. The pet industry in Malaysia is experiencing a fascinating, dynamic evolution.
“Today, we’re excited to introduce SmartHeart Pet Buddies — a fun and meaningful way to bring our brand values of understanding, quality nutrition and lifelong care to life.
“We are no longer just selling food; ultimately, it shall serve to enhance the bond between pets and their owners,” said Kanoknart.

The launch event also saw the unveiling of a rubber stamp artwork created in collaboration with the public between Feb 23 and Feb 26, which received recognition by the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) as the largest of its kind in the country.
The win reflects the brand’s commitment to creating a shared experience that customers and roadshow participants can be proud to be part of.

Lot 10 marks the first stop of the Pet Buddies roadshow nationwide tour, which will continue to Penang and Johor Bahru in April and May, respectively, in addition to over 100 stops across Peninsular Malaysia.
The roadshow gives the public a chance to interact with the characters and engage with SmartHeart's community through different interactive games and activities.
It marks a new chapter in SmartHeart’s journey, celebrating love, companionship and the brand’s commitment to providing wholesome nutrition and lifelong care for pets.

If you’ve missed the first attempt to be a part of the first MBR moment, fret not, as you can be part of the next one.
PCG marketing and key account assistant vice president Chloe Ng shared that there is already an ongoing attempt to achieve the second MBR for the most collected postcards.
SmartHeart customers and the public can be a part of this moment by participating in the station games at SmartHeart Pet Buddies’ first stop at the Lot 10 entrance from Feb 27 to March 1, with the postcard event being one of the station games.
The public also stands a chance to win one of the five Pet Buddies plushies at the roadshow booth.
“We encourage our end-users to join our MBR attempt — to take part in the stamping and postcard activities — because we want them to feel that they are part of us,” shared Ng.
