HARI Raya Aidilfitri marks a meaningful moment in the year, bringing families together in gratitude, forgiveness and renewed connection.
While many homes are filled with celebration, the season can also carry quiet moments of reflection for those remembering loved ones who are no longer present.
This emotional balance shapes Zurich Malaysia’s latest Hari Raya film, which explores how care continues to bind families together across generations.
Through the story of a young boy preparing for Hari Raya, the film reflects on the subtle ways love is passed down and rediscovered, even in absence.
Set within the familiar rhythm of Hari Raya preparations and gatherings, the narrative centres on a treasured ‘sampin’ once worn by the boy’s late father.
In embracing this keepsake, he finds a sense of closeness and identity, as his mother’s reassurance gently turns the moment into a bridge between memory and the present.
The film highlights that Hari Raya is not only about celebration, but also remembrance. It acknowledges that joy and longing can coexist and that it is care, expressed in simple gestures and shared traditions, that keeps families connected.
“Hari Raya is a time of celebration and reflection,” said Zurich Malaysia brand marketing and communications head Erin Hwang.
“For many, it brings happiness and togetherness. For others, it is also a moment to remember those who have shaped our lives.
“This film reflects how love continues to guide us, even when someone is no longer physically by our side.
“At Zurich Malaysia, Care For What Matters means recognising the depth of these moments and the role it plays in holding families together.”
Through its gentle storytelling, the film invites viewers to honour both the joyful and tender sides of the festive season, reminding us that love endures beyond time.
In line with the Hari Raya season, Zurich Malaysia is also introducing a range of festive campaigns to provide added value and practical support for customers.
Under the Sentuhan Emas campaign, customers can earn gold rewards with the purchase of selected Zurich Family Takaful products.
On top of this, customers who sign up for Takaful ProAspire with a regular top up will receive an additional benefit, where 50 per cent of the regular top up amount will be counted towards the Sentuhan Emas campaign rewards.
Additionally, to help ensure safer journeys during the balik kampung period, Zurich Malaysia is also offering a complimentary vehicle inspection campaign. These initiatives will run until the end of March 2026.
