Give farmers a better deal

THE Covid-19 outbreak has brought everyone to their knees! Except for a few idiots who are still wandering around in public thinking that they are immune to the coronavirus, everyone appears to be taking it seriously. Presidents, prime ministers and global religious leaders are finally speaking in one voice: “Stay at home and stay safe.” And the mighty superpowers with their frightening nuclear weapons are suddenly appearing as meek as mice under the glaring headlights of Covid-19.

There is so much concern and gratitude for all the frontline medical staff who are risking their lives daily to save as many of their fellow human beings as possible; no race, colour or creed here, just humanity working at its utmost best!
