CONCERNED for her friend and fellow artiste Bella Astillah, Puteri Sarah Liyana Megat Kamaruddin provided a bodyguard to accompany the 31-year-old singer to the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya.
She said she did so to ensure Bella’s safety while attending the court proceedings on Wednesday in support of Muar MP Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.
“Yes, that’s my bodyguard and my children’s. It’s true that I lent her to keep Bella company,” she told Berita Harian Online.
She said the rise in kidnapping cases had prompted her to hire a personal assistant, who also serves as a driver and bodyguard.
“She is assigned to take care of me and the kids. She takes me to film shoots and also sends my children to school,” she added.
