Police have detained a 34-year-old woman after a clip of a SUV being driven against traffic in Seremban 2 went viral.
Seremban OCPD Asst Comm Azahar Abdul Rahim said the two-minute clip went viral around 11am on Sunday (April 5).
"The incident was believed to have taken place around 2pm on Saturday near a mall along Persiaran Utama S2/1.
"The suspect then turned up at the station and admitted that she was the one behind the wheel," he said, adding that the woman was subsequently detained.
Upon questioning, the woman said she made a mistake as it was her first time driving along the stretch.
ACP Azahar stated that the suspect tested negative for both drugs and alcohol following a urine and breathalyser test.
He said investigations were underway and those with information can contact investigating officer Insp Tiew Chuan Jie at 014-9668399 or the nearest police station.
