A VIRAL video has been making its rounds on social media showing a young boy driving a red Perodua Kancil with two other young children in the passenger seat.

According to a press release by the Pontian District police department, the 10-second video was shot in Pontian, Johor.
In the press release, Pontian District OCPD Supt Mohammad Shofee Tayib said the department's Investigation and Traffic Control Division first detected the video on social media on May 10.
"Following the discovery, we conducted a detailed investigation and found that the incident happened at 7am on Tuesday (May 10) in Pekan Nanas as the children were preparing to go to school.
"The car was driven by a 10-year-old boy who had his six-year-old sister and three-year-old brother in the passenger seat with him.
Mohammad Shofee, said following the incident, parents and three other children surrendered to the IPD at 10am on May 12.
He said the mother of the three children admitted that the TikTok account that displayed the original video was also hers.
According to him, the investigation was conducted under Section 42 of the Road Transport Act (APJ) 1987.
"Parents or guardians who allow underage children to drive vehicles can be prosecuted under Section 33 of the Child Act (AKK) 2001.
"Besides that, the owner of the vehicle who is also the mother or father of the child can receive a summons under Section 39 (5) APJ 1987," he said.
