CROCODILES are not usually the kind of water animal snorkellers hope to find on a dive.
But one reportedly swam towards a tourist at Pulau Sapi, prompting swimming and snorkelling activities to be stopped.
Did this really happen?

TRUE
Rangers from the Sabah Parks and Wildlife Department are closely monitoring waters in Tunku Abdul Rahman Park after a crocodile was spotted near a person snorkelling in Pulau Sapi on Monday (Oct 5).
Sabah Wildlife Department's Mohd Soffian Abu Bakar said on Wednesday (Oct 7) that rangers are monitoring waters around Pulau Sapi and neighbouring islands for the crocodile, which has not been spotted again.
"We have not set up any traps so far. We are continuing to monitor with park rangers," he said.
He said Sabah Parks received a report of a crocodile in Pulau Sapi waters at about 11.30am on Oct 5.
However, rangers could not locate the crocodile but continued to monitor the area.
In a viral video, a crocodile can be seen moving towards a diver in Pulau Sapi. However, the reptile did not launch an attack.
Witnesses said no one was diving that day due to bad weather.
"After the incident (was reported), Sabah Parks stopped swimming, snorkelling and seawalking activities," a witness said.
