Ayam Brand champions healthy living through nationwide CSR initiative

The programme made healthy living fun and meaningful for students.

AYAM BRAND recently completed its ‘#AyamBersamaMu: Bekal Sihat Masa Depan’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, reaching 10 primary schools across 10 states in Peninsular Malaysia.

The initiative also supported over 700 beneficiaries through food donations to 20 orphanages and welfare homes nationwide, bringing together education, practical skills, sustainability and community support.

The school-based programme combined nutrition education, hands-on meal preparation, and sustainability activities to help students develop healthier eating habits and a better understanding of environmental responsibility.

It also featured a talk by Shazwani Magini from the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya Health Department.

She introduced students to balanced eating, food groups, and portioning through the familiar “Suku-Suku Separuh” (Quarter, Quarter, Half ) concept promoted by the Health Ministry.

The learning journey continued at Kebun Ayam Brand, where students worked with their schools’ environmental club to repurpose Ayam Brand food cans and other recyclable materials into creative additions to their school gardens.

Through the Kebun Ayam Brand contest, students learned about upcycling, waste reduction, and environmental responsibility while developing their creativity and teamwork.

“At Ayam Brand, we believe that nurturing healthier futures goes beyond providing nutritious food.

“Through #AyamBersamaMu: Bekal Sihat Masa Depan, we hope to make learning about nutrition, food preparation and sustainability meaningful and enjoyable, while encouraging healthy habits that stay with children as they grow,” said Ayam Brand marketing director

Teoh Wei Ling.
