NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim departed for Kerala in southern India for his second and final leg of his working visit in India after participating in the 18th BRICS' Leaders Summit here.
The aircraft carrying the Prime Minister departed the Palam air force station in New Delhi at 2.15pm local time (4.45pm Malaysian Time) to Kozhikode (Calicut), Kerala (officially Keralam).
At the coastal town, Anwar will meet with the Grand Mufti of India, Sheikh Abubakr Ahmad, to exchange perspectives on community development, educational advancement, and interfaith harmony.
As part of the visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet the Chief Minister Thiru V. D. Satheesan and Governor of Kerala Thiru Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar.
The Prime Minister will head to Maldives on Sept 14. - Bernama
