KL Wholesale Market worker stabbed


PETALING JAYA: A man in his 30s was injured after he was stabbed by an unidentified assailant while working at the Kuala Lumpur Wholesale Market on Saturday (Sept 12).

Acting Sentul OCPD Supt Jasni Zulpa said police received a report from the victim’s colleague at 1.30pm on Sunday (Sept 13).

“The victim was stabbed by an unidentified suspect while he was working.

“He was taken to Selayang Hospital for further treatment and is in stable condition,” he said in a statement on Sunday.

Supt Jasni said police were investigating to identify the suspect and determine the motive behind the attack.

He urged anyone with information on the incident to come forward to assist investigations.
