KUALA LUMPUR: In conjunction and in celebrating the upcoming National Day and Malaysia Day, UEM Group Bhd (UEM Group), a wholly-owned subsidiary and flagship infrastructure arm of Khazanah Nasional Bhd, has unveiled a giant Jalur Gemilang on the façade of its headquarters, Mercu UEM, located in Kuala Lumpur Sentral.
With dimensions of 42m by 21m and weighing 120kg, the giant national flag, which stretches across seven floors of the 29-storey tower, took approximately four hours to be hoisted and secured.
The patriotic display will remain on the building until Sept 17.
Visible from surrounding areas including Bangsar and Brickfields, the giant Jalur Gemilang display at Mercu UEM serves as a visual tribute to the nation’s continued peace and prosperity.
