IPOH: A 75-year-old man was injured after the car he was driving crashed into a three tonne lorry at Pekan Getah RPT Batu 3 in Tapah early Saturday (June 27) morning.

Perak Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said the incident occurred at about 6.20am and firefighters from the Tapah Fire and Rescue Station were deployed to the scene.

He said upon arrival at 6.29am, firefighters found the driver trapped inside the wrecked car, while the 45-year-old lorry driver had also sustained injuries.
