EPF to close all remittance counters from July 1

PETALING JAYA: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) will close all remittance counters at its offices nationwide from July 1, 2026, as part of efforts to enhance service delivery through digital and alternative payment channels.

In a statement on Thursday (June 11), the EPF said other service counters at its offices would continue operating as usual.

Following the closure, members can continue making contribution payments through the EPF i-Akaun app, internet banking, bank agent counters, Self-Service Terminals (SST), and Mobile KWSP Team or Relationship Advisory (RA) services.

The EPF said employers are encouraged to make contribution payments via the i-Akaun (Employer) portal to ensure smoother processing of payments.

It added that the closure of receipting counters would not affect members' or employers' ability to make contribution payments, as various alternative payment channels remain available.

"The EPF remains committed to continuously improving its service delivery and ensuring that members and employers can perform transactions seamlessly through secure, accessible and efficient platforms," it said.
