EPF raises stake in Eco-Shop to 5.26%


KUALA LUMPUR: The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has raised its stake in Eco-Shop Marketing Bhd to 5.26%, a day after emerging as a substantial shareholder.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Eco-Shop said EPF acquired an additional 6.73 million shares on Aug 28, bringing its direct interest in the company to 302.89 million shares.

The latest acquisition came a day after EPF bought 8.68 million shares on Aug 27, lifting its stake to 5.144% and making it a substantial shareholder of Eco-Shop.

It said the percentage of securities held was calculated based on Eco-Shop’s issued share capital of 5.76 billion ordinary shares as at Aug 27, 2026.
