TELUK INTAN: Investigations into police officers and personnel believed to be linked to the discovery of prohibited items at Ipoh police headquarters lock-up will be fully handled by Bukit Aman's integrity and standards compliance department (JIPS).

Perak police chief Datuk Noor Hisam Nordin said the internal investigation had been completed and several individuals gave their statements.

"The internal investigation has concluded and several individuals have given statements.

"If JIPS finds the case to be serious, a disciplinary board will be convened to determine the appropriate punishment for those involved," he said.
