A TEEN gangster named Abishek, who escaped from a police station in Tamil Nadu, India, while still in handcuffs, was back in detention after police used his girlfriend to lure him to a bus station like a scene from a Bollywood movie, Malaysia Nanban reported.

The 19-year-old, who is facing numerous charges including murder, attempted murder and drug smuggling, was initially caught by a special police task force four days ago.

He escaped after being handed over to the Kasimedu Fishing Harbour police station, which itself raised many questions.

The task force began tracking Abishek’s handphone and monitoring his known associates.

They found that he had been talking to his girlfriend frequently after getting a phone from his friend. The police convinced the girlfriend to ask him to meet her at the Koyambedu bus station.

The unsuspecting gangster showed up only to be surrounded by police and arrested.
