A MAN working at a fried chicken shop in Guangdong, China, suffered a meltdown after receiving a large takeaway order in the middle of the night, Sin Chew Daily reported.
It took place on Aug 10 while he was the sole employee on night duty. All of a sudden, the shop saw a surge of orders and delivery riders began queuing outside.
The employee was seen on video becoming visibly overwhelmed before crying.
Seeing the man’s predicament, the delivery riders outside began telling him to “stay calm” and “don’t cry”.
The employee could be heard breathing heavily. He collapsed from hyperventilating.
When the footage was posted online, Internet users in China sympathised with the man.
They also praised the delivery riders for not blaming him and instead stepping in to help him.
> The daily also reported that a Japanese couple proved that age, even if it is a 34-year gap, is not a barrier in love and marriage.
The couple met at work, started dating and got hitched in three months. They shared their love story recently on the programme Women Who Can’t Keep Silent 3.
The 60-year-old Hiromi began performing at a local theatre group in Ibaraki Prefecture when she was eight. The husband, 26-year-old Kota, joined the theatre group just last year.
Hiromi, who has been married three times, said when she first saw Kota, she immediately knew he was her type.
She pursued him and the two started a relationship.
“I’ll take good care of you. I’ll even change your diapers,” Kota reportedly told Hiromi when she is too old one day.
When the host asked about Kota’s dating life, he confessed that Hiromi was his first girlfriend.
