MUAR: Police arrested three foreigners for allegedly being involved in a spate of burglaries in the district.
Muar OCPD Asst Comm Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz said that the suspects, aged 24 to 31, were arrested in Melaka Tengah at about 12.30am on July 26.
He said that two of the suspects would be charged on Wednesday (Aug 19) while another would be a prosecution witness.
"Their arrests also help to solve the recent viral case on social media of CCTV footage showing three men breaking into a house via the kitchen window," he said in a statement.
He added that the suspects have been active for the past two months.
