Lorry-car crash leaves five injured in Kampung Sungai Leman


PETALING JAYA: A traffic collision between a lorry and a car left multiple victims trapped inside their vehicles.

The Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director, Ahmad Mukhlis, said the accident occurred on Saturday (April 18) on Jalan Haji Sirat in Kampung Sungai Leman. It involved five victims. Two women were still trapped inside the car when rescuers arrived.

"As of 3.30pm, all trapped victims have been rescued," he said.

He added that the victims suffered fractures and injuries. One who sustained head injuries and was found semi-conscious.

"All victims were handed over to Health Ministry officials for further action," he said.
