Cops seek help to locate missing 16-year-old in Ampang


KUALA LUMPUR: A 16-year-old girl has been reported missing after leaving her home in Ampang on Wednesday (April 15).

Ampang Jaya OCPD Assistant Commissioner Khairul Anuar Khalid said the teenager, identified as Puteri Nur Quraitul Aini Abdullah, sent a message to her mother stating she was going out with friends but has since not returned.

A police report regarding her disappearance was lodged on Friday night (April 17). Her last known location was at Jalan Wawasan 1/10 in Bandar Baru Ampang.

“The missing person is 167cm tall and weighs around 49kg. Those with information on her whereabouts are urged to contact their nearest police station or the IPD Ampang Jaya command centre at 03-4289 7222,” he said in a statement on Saturday (April 18).

Information can also be channelled to investigating officer Inspector Nur Faizah Mohd Anuar at 017-342 2804.
