Thunderstorms, strong winds to hit five states until noon


KUALA LUMPUR: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected to affect five states in Peninsular Malaysia until noon on Tuesday (April 7), said the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).

In a statement, MetMalaysia said the conditions are forecast in Perlis and Kedah (Langkawi, Kubang Pasu, Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Yan, Pendang, Kuala Muda and Kulim), as well as Penang (Seberang Perai Utara and Seberang Perai Tengah).

The same warning has been issued for Selangor (Klang and Kuala Langat) and Johor (Tangkak, Muar, Batu Pahat, Kluang, Pontian, Kulai and Johor Bahru). – Bernama
