MetMalaysia warns of thunderstorms, heavy rain in four states, KL until 1pm


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds forecast to occur in four states and the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur until 1pm Sunday (April 5).

In a statement, MetMalaysia said the affected areas in Perak are Bagan Datuk and Hilir Perak, while in Selangor the warning covers Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Kuala Langat and Hulu Langat.

The same warning is also expected for Jelebu in Negri Sembilan. In Sarawak, the areas forecast to be affected are Kapit (Bukit Mabong and Belaga), Miri (Beluru, Telang Usan and Marudi) and Limbang. — Bernama
