Schools to comply with guidelines from Health Ministry, MetMalaysia amid heatwave, says Fadhlina

KAJANG: The Education Ministry is taking a coordinated approach to safeguard students amid Malaysia’s extreme weather conditions.

Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek said they are complying with guidelines issued by the Health Ministry (KKM) and the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) as the country continues to experience hot weather.

“Every plan will be coordinated closely with KKM and MetMalaysia to ensure our approach is well-organised and does not disrupt students’ learning,” she said at SMK Kajang Tinggi in conjunction with the announcement of the SPM examination results on Tuesday (March 31).

“This is because our priority remains the learning of our students, as well as the health and well-being of the entire school community,” she added.
