Passenger falls on tracks at Abdullah Hukum Station

KLANG: An incident involving a passenger who fell onto the tracks at Abdullah Hukum Station at 6.09pm on Friday (April 3) temporarily disrupted train services between Universiti, Kerinchi and Abdullah Hukum stations.

Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd (Rapid Rail) said in a statement that power supply at the station was deactivated as a safety measure to allow the police, Fire and Rescue Department and ambulance team to carry out rescue operations.

It added that alternative transportation services such as free shuttle buses have been activated for passengers to ply the affected route.

Rapid Rail said it will fully cooperate with the authorities to conduct further investigations into the incident.

The company apologised to all passengers for the inconvenience and delay caused by the incident and urged the public to follow developments through Rapid KL social media channels as well as official announcements at the stations involved.
