Bersatu sacks Chegubard for violating party constitution

PETALING JAYA: Bersatu has sacked Badrul Hisham Shaharin, also known as Chegubard, according to media reports of internal conflict.

The sacking is the latest in a series of expulsions from the party recently following infighting between top leaders.

The political activist, who is also the Port Dickson division chief, had previously been issued a show-cause letter.

According to reports, Bersatu disciplinary board chairman Datuk Mohd Radzi Manan said Chegubard was sacked for going against Clause 9.1.4 of the party constitution as well as the Code of Ethics for party members.

On Wednesday (March 18), Chegubard said he had received a show-cause letter from the board on several charges and was given seven days to reply.

However, he said he would not answer the showc-ause letter which he received on March 10 as he felt that the questions did not make sense.
