Anwar: We’re not against pig farming, but keep it away from homes

PUTRAJAYA: The government is not opposed to pig farming or pork consumption, but the rearing of such livestock should not take place in areas that could cause public concern, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Anwar said communities should not be compelled to live near pig farms, which could lead to hygiene and pollution issues.
