Education fair offers study pathways

Students and parents gather at the Education and Further Studies Fair to explore higher education opportunities.

PETALING JAYA: The Education and Further Studies Fair (Series 61) will be held over two weekends in two cities.

This one-stop education fair is open to the public from 11am to 6pm daily and admission is free.

Details are as follows:

Week 1 – Kuala Lumpur: Jan 10 and 11

Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Mid Valley Megamall, Kuala Lumpur;

Week 2 – Johor Baru: Jan 17 and 18

Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey, Johor Baru.

The fair will be of interest to Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM), Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), Unified Examination Certificate (UEC), International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and International school leavers as well as parents, teachers, university students, working adults, industry members and the general public seeking higher education opportunities.

A chance not to be missed by enthusiastic students pursuing undergraduate and post-graduate courses, this fair will provide answers to queries on colleges and universities, courses, scholarships and career possibilities.

Students will also be able to obtain advice from educationists and counsellors on specialised training and academic courses available both in Malaysia and overseas.

Visitors will be able to “shop” for courses ranging from Hotel Management, Accountancy, Aviation, Pilot, Baking, Cooking, Beauty, Business Studies, Broadcasting, Law, Applied Sciences, Communication Studies, Engineering, Multimedia, Information Technology and Computer Science, Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Marketing, Music, Tourism Studies, Advertising, Graphic Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Dance, Nursing, Automotive, Early Childhood Education, Cabin Crew, Skill Training Options, Aptitude and Course Counselling and many more.

With the participation of more than 100 colleges and universities, the public is expected to discover many new educational options at this fair.
