85 temples facing land, legal issues


SOME 85 Hindu temples are facing land and legal issues in Johor Baru, Malaysia Nanban reported.

The matter was highlighted during a meeting of the temple committees’ and Malaysia Hindu Sangam (MHS) Johor chapter.

They discussed issues faced by the temples such as land registration and local council regulation, and legal avenues available to those temples.

MHS Johor chairman K. Vijayan said state MIC chairman Raven Kumar Krishnasamy, who is a state exco member, is leading the effort to resolve the issues.

The incident at a hospital in Simla, Himachal Pradesh, started after the doctor, Ragav Nirula, hurled inappropriate words at him, said the patient, Arjun.

Ragav is then seen walking around the patient’s bed and attacking him.
