KUCHING: Sarawak Yang di-Pertua Negeri Tun Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi have conveyed greetings and warm wishes to Christians in conjunction with Good Friday and Easter this weekend.
The Head of State said the occasion was a meaningful time of reflection and renewal, underscoring Sarawak's values of multicultural understanding and harmony.

Despite differences in faith, he said, Sarawakians remain united by common values of compassion, kindness and respect, sustaining peace and cohesion among the people.
"Sarawak’s unique social fabric continues to be strengthened by the close bonds shared among its people, where individuals of different faiths and backgrounds come together in mutual respect, visiting one another and celebrating important occasions in a spirit of goodwill," he said in his message on Thursday (April 2).
"Simple gestures such as sharing meals, exchanging greetings and extending care to one another reflect the true essence of unity that we cherish," he added.
Wan Junaidi expressed hope that the occasion would bring joy, peace and comfort to those celebrating, while reminding everyone of the importance of family, togetherness and shared humanity.
He also called on all communities to continue nurturing unity and mutual respect so that Sarawak's harmony remains strong and endures for future generations.
