S'wak aiming to cut carbon emissions by 35% in 25 years


KUCHING: Sarawak is aiming for a 35% reduction in carbon emissions by 2050 under its net zero strategy and carbon plan, the state legislative assembly was told.

State Deputy International Trade, Industry and Investment Minister Datuk Malcolm Mussen Lamoh said the target would be achieved through core measures such as electrification and material efficiency.
