KOTA KINABALU: Some may call Parti Kesejahteraan Demokratik Masyarakat (KDM) a "mosquito party" (a minor or small party), but that does not mean it lacks an edge, says deputy president Datuk Wetrom Bahanda.
"We might be small, but we sting," he told a crowd in Limbahau, Papar, on the campaign trail for the 17th Sabah state election on Monday (Nov 24).
"Take the famous fable of the rabbit and the tortoise. We are also like (the tortoise)... we keep moving forward, slowly but surely."

He said the party had never stopped moving from the day it was established, and would continue to fight not only until polling day, but beyond.
Wetrom said Parti KDM was created with the hope of bringing change for the people in terms of administration and implementation of policies.
“We do not have millions to mobilise our machinery, but we have the strongest spirit and loyalty to the party," he added.
Parti KDM, led by Priscella Peter, is contesting 40 seats in the Nov 29 election.
It is among 23 parties contesting 73 state seats.
