PETALING JAYA: The Perlis Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office in Kangar has been temporarily closed following floods in the state.

The MACC confirmed the closure in a statement on Tuesday (Nov 25).

"The temporary closure starting today is because the access roads leading to the office are flooded and impassable.

"At the moment, there is no estimated date for when the Perlis MACC office will reopen, as it depends on the flood situation in the state,” it said.

It added that corruption complaints can still be forwarded to official channels such as www.sprm.gov.my or at 1800 88 6000.
