A PRIVATE Member’s Bill has been submitted by government backbenchers to amend the Federal Capital Act 1960 so that greater democratic oversight can be imposed on the city’s governance.
Setiawangsa MP Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad said the proposed amendment was an outcome of recommendations made by the bipartisan Public Accounts Committee (PAC) in August.
