The Private and International School Fairs have reached a new milestone when the fair was recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as being the “Largest International School Fair in Malaysia”.

The certification of achievement was presented to the founders Nickie Yew and Dr Michele Lam recently.

This recognition underscores Mint’s ongoing commitment to promoting access to quality education and strengthening connections within the education community.

The 23rd Private and International School Fair (PISF) in Kuala Lumpur was held from Nov 1 to 2 at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, reaffirming its position as Malaysia’s first and largest platform for families exploring private and international education opportunities.

The fair was a great success and was attended by a large number of parents and their children as well as educators and others interested in the educational opportunities available in private and international schools.

Organised by Mint Communications, the fair brought together over 70 exhibitors, including international schools, preschools, learning centres and education service providers. It was open from 11am to 6pm on both days.

A key highlight of this year’s fair was the Islamic Pavilion, which attracted parents interested in schools that combine strong academic curricula with Islamic values. The pavilion featured institutions dedicated to nurturing students’ intellectual, personal and spiritual growth within a holistic framework.

Adding to the excitement, the Fun Kids Explorer area once again proved to be a popular attraction among families. Designed to inspire curiosity and creativity, the zone offered a variety of hands-on educational activities that encouraged children to learn through play.

Within this space, the STEM 4 All Makerspace introduced innovative STEM-based activities that allowed young learners to explore science, technology, engineering and mathematics in fun and interactive ways. Together, these initiatives reflected the fair’s commitment to providing a family-friendly environment where learning and exploration go hand in hand.

This year’s fair was strongly supported by MK Land, SanDisk and Ikonik Eye Specialist Centre.

MK Land remains dedicated to fostering sustainable community development, SanDisk continues to advance digital learning through innovative technology and Ikonik Eye Specialist Centre is committed to promoting better eye health and vision care.

Their valued support greatly contributed to the success of the event. Other sponsors, including Golden Screen Cinemas, Spritzer and Hoppi, also played an important role in making the fair a memorable experience.

Families were also treated to a variety of student performances throughout the weekend, featuring music, dance and singing that brought energy and colour to the event. These activities not only entertained visitors but also reflected the nurturing and creative environments fostered by the participating schools.
