MELAKA: A PKR Youth leader has asked DAP to tone down its controversial statements.
PKR Youth exco Muhammad Fadzli Roslan said DAP should have some consideration for its partner in Pakatan Harapan.
“I want to urge DAP leaders to tone down their controversial statements.
"Please have some consideration for us. We have worked so hard to restore the government we have today, and now we are trying to stabilise the situation,” he said during his debate at the Angkatan Muda Keadilan congress on Friday(Aug 16).
He said PKR can be friends with anyone but stresses that they should not make things harder for the reformist party.
“We want to work together, strengthen the country and develop it together. But please, don’t disrupt this situation.
"We can be friends with anyone, but don’t interfere with our efforts to build the government and strengthen the economy for the people we care about.
"Some friends have left us and formed a new party. If they want to leave, let them go. But why interfere with PKR?” he asked.
He also said it's time for PKR leaders to stop being 'people pleasers' and be brave in defending the party like its President Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
