KUALA LUMPUR: Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia on Friday (Aug 14) received a courtesy call from Istana Negara Comptroller of the Royal Household Tan Sri Dr Azmi Rohani and Datuk Paduka Maharaja Lela (Grand Chamberlain) Datuk Azuan Effendy Zairakithnaini in conjunction with Her Majesty's Birthday.
According to a post on Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar's Facebook page, the meeting took place at Istana Bukit Serene, Johor.
During the meeting, Raja Zarith Sofiah graciously received a cake and yellow glutinous rice presented by the senior management and staff of Istana Negara to mark the occasion.
On behalf of the management and staff of Istana Negara, Azmi conveyed their prayers and heartfelt wishes for Her Majesty's continued good health, well-being and happiness. - Bernama
