Female student hurt after falling from Shah Alam school building


SHAH ALAM: Police have confirmed that a Form One female student at a school here was injured after falling from the first floor of the school building on Thursday (Oct 30).

Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the student sustained injuries to her forehead and leg and was reported to be conscious and in stable condition.

"Yes, there was an incident involving a Form One female student falling from the first floor of the school yesterday,” he said in a statement on Friday (Oct 31).

The case is being investigated under Section 507C of the Penal Code, which carries a penalty of up to one year’s imprisonment, a fine, or both if convicted.- Bernama
