PETALING JAYA: A 14-year-old boy who was reported missing after leaving his home in Kampung Tasik Permai, Ampang, last Thursday was found safe after returning home early Tuesday (Aug 25).
Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Khairul Anuar Khalid said the teenager returned at about 2am and was found to be safe and uninjured.
“In the early hours of Aug 25, at about 2am, the complainant realised that the missing person had returned home safely.
“An examination found that the missing person was safe and had not suffered any injuries,” he said in a statement on Tuesday.
On Monday (Aug 24), police said they had received a report from the teenager’s father at about 1.45pm regarding his disappearance.
The teenager was reported to have left home on Aug 20, with his last known location being Lorong 7, Kampung Tasik Permai.
