Police say student who fell from residential college was not under stress


PETALING JAYA: The Universiti Malaya student who fell to his death from a residential college on Friday (Oct 17) was not believed to be under stress, police said.

“This is based on interviews with friends, family and faculty members,” Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Shamsudin Mamat said.

He previously said no criminal elements were detected in the incident.

A post mortem found the 22 year old’s death was caused by severe head injuries from a fall from height.
