A 10-YEAR-OLD boy who knelt beside a car, pleading with passing drivers to help his mother following a car accident, deeply moved netizens in China, Sin Chew Daily reported.

The mother, known only as Ye, was reportedly knocked unconscious in the driver’s seat by the force of the deployed airbag on Saturday.

She was travelling with her three children, including the boy, when the rear-end collision occurred at the Shimen Tangshan Tunnel in Guangzhou.

Her son got out of the car and knelt beside the vehicle, crying and bowing repeatedly, saying: “Please save my mum!”

The emotional scene prompted several drivers to stop and get the unconscious woman to hospital.

The incident was captured by a passing vehicle’s dashcam and later uploaded on social media.

Netizens commended the boy, describing him as “brave and responsible”.

> China Press reported that TVB’s three-time Best Actor winner Wayne Lai Yiu-Cheung was spotted at a restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, with fans surrounding him.

He warmly greeted them and took photos with them, showing no celebrity arrogance.

Lai even casually chatted with them, saying, “Wow, you’re done eating already? So fast!”

After his meal, Lai was seen enjoying durian offered by the restaurant owner.

It is learnt that the actor’s visit to Malaysia was related to a business engagement.
