King contributes 148 sacrificial cattle for Johor folk


JOHOR BARU: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has contributed 148 cattle for the Aidiladha sacrificial rites to be distributed to the people of Johor.

Johor Mentri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi said the contribution reflected the care, compassion and close bond between the Johor Royal Institution and the people, with the welfare of Bangsa Johor always prioritised.

He also expressed gratitude for His Majesty's generosity and concern for the rakyat.

"The people and I pray that Your Majesty and the Royal Family will always be blessed with good health, well-being and remain under the protection and mercy of Allah SWT," he said in a Facebook post Wednesday (May 27).

Meanwhile, Onn Hafiz, who is also Machap assemblyman, said the Simpang Renggam Korban Perdana programme would also involve the distribution of 32 sacrificial cattle to mosques, surau, villages and those in need in the area. - Bernama
