Boy dies from electrocution

A teenager in Tamil Nadu, India, was killed after being electrocuted while preparing for a Kabadi competition,

Makkal Osai reported that the 14-year-old boy was one of the Kabadi players from his school who, along with teachers and fellow students, was helping prepare their grounds for an upcoming competition.

To the shock of the teachers and other students, the boy suddenly suffered spasms and fell.

They then realised he had accidentally stepped on an exposed live cable and was electrocuted.

They tried to resuscitate him but he passed away.

Authorities in Virudhunagar are investigating the incident.
