Ten roads in KL city centre to close on Sept 20 for Malaysia Sarong Music Run


KUALA LUMPUR: Ten main roads in the city centre here will be temporarily closed and diverted on Saturday (Sept 20) for the Malaysia Sarong Music Run 2025-Road to Visit Malaysia 2026, held in conjunction with Malaysia Day celebrations.

Kuala Lumpur deputy police chief Datuk Mohamed Usuf Jan Mohamad said the event, which begins at 3pm in front of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) on Jalan Ampang, is expected to draw over 15,000 participants competing in two main categories: the 5km Malaysia Speed Run and the 5km Fun Run.
