Anwar honours services, sacrifices Armed Forces personnel on 92nd anniversary


KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed his appreciation to all Malaysian Armed Forces personnel in conjunction with the 92nd Malaysian Armed Forces Day on Tuesday (Sept 16).

In a Facebook post, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the service and sacrifices of Armed Forces personnel in defending the nation's sovereignty.

"May all personnel be blessed with good health, strength and unwavering fighting spirit in fulfilling their duties and responsibilities to the homeland," he said.

The Prime Minister also extended his gratitude to ATM veterans for their years of service and prayed for fallen heroes to be placed among the righteous.

"Al-Fatihah to the warriors who have gone before us. May their souls be showered with mercy and be placed among the righteous and the martyrs," he said. - Bernama
