Unemployment rate steady at 3%, unemployed numbers drop to 518,700, DOSM reports


PUTRAJAYA: June's unemployment rate held at 3%, with unemployed numbers declining to 518,700, according to the Labour Force Statistics for June and Second Quarter (Q2) of 2025 released on Monday (Aug 11).

Chief Statistician Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin said the labour market maintained its positive growth momentum in June, driven by the national economy's continued expansion.
