No action against nine PKR MPs who called for judicial appointments RCI, says Fuziah

SEREMBAN: No disciplinary action will be taken against nine PKR MPs who had called for the setting up of a Royal Commission of Inquiry on judicial appointments, says party secretary-general Datuk Fuziah Salleh.

"The president (Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim) has already said the issue (calling for their suspension) does not arise.

"He said as MPs, they are entitled to voice people-related issues," she said when met after a meeting between Anwar and Negri Sembilan PKR division leaders here.

However, Fuziah said members should discuss such matters internally first before going public.

Fuziah had previously said PKR was looking into calls for a disciplinary investigation against the nine after they called for an RCI on the judiciary issue.

Some PKR branches in Johor and Kedah had said the move could tarnish the image of the government.
